I am so thrilled to announce the release of my latest album of original roots songs and tunes called Another Life. It’s been months of hard work with a finished product I am so excited to share with you all. My last solo release was in 1994, many lives ago. This project was born out of many changes just in the last year, so it is super special.
The recording features heart songs and songs about Baltimore. Dogwood waltzes, cinematic melodica drones, finger style guitar two beats, reminiscent parlor piano, junkyard percussion, banjo and other spare parts and pieces are included. The heart songs are about lovers of the patient, hopeful, reminiscent and forsaken variety. The Baltimore songs are about race trackers, an organ player, an astronomer, a sailor, a stonecutter and an aunt with a blue car.
I’m kicking off the album release with a mid-Atlantic tour during July, August and September. My first show begins with the Roots Café Singer Songwriter Series at An Die Musik on Sunday, July 23rd in Baltimore. Click here to see where else I’ll be playing.
I’ll continue my tour in England in October and November. I am currently booking shows for 2018 for Florida in February and the West Coast in April and May. If you would like to host a house concert or know anyone who books musicians for their venues, please let me know. The West Coast tour includes shows on the way west along I-10 in early April, and the way back east along I-70 in late May. You can contact me at email@example.com to discuss.
The digital copy of my new release is available on my website. You can listen to the album here and make a donation here, or purchase a downloadable copy from my store here. I will have some homemade collectible CDs available for sale for my first couple of shows. I will have my mass duplicated copies available in early August. The crew credits for Another Life are available here. The songwriter credits are available here. The song stories are available here.
I hope this post finds you all well and enjoying your summer. I hope to see you all out there somewhere in my travels. Please do get out and supportboth recorded and live music.
