A Visit to Bill’s Music House

Greetings to everyone. All well here in Liberty. This short post is to let folks in the Baltimore area know that next weekend on Saturday, January 21, I’ll be doing two performances on the same day.

I have just released a new record, Onions, Old Movies & You, and will be performing a concert in Catonsville, Maryland at The Catonsville Clubhouse at 7 pm, doors at 6 pm. Thanks to Rick Sambuco for making that happen.

In the past I have done some in-store short performances at record stores for concert promotion. I thought it would be fun to do an in-store event at Bill’s Music House, also in Catonsville. Thanks to Jamie at Bill’s it’s going to happen from 2-3 pm on the same day as the concert, again Saturday, January 21.

Bill’s Music has been the go-to music store for countless musicians from the mid-Atlantic and points beyond since 1965, that’s right, 1965. That’s nearly as long as I’ve been alive. My first musical instruments were purchased from Bill in 1967. My first formal guitar lesson was at Bill’s from Ronny Cook, who is still doing super tunes for guitarists, bassists and others. I had a Facebook post about Bill’s and Ronny Cook here.

I do hope you can make it to the concert at The Catonsville Clubhouse at 7 pm, Saturday, January 21, doors at 6 pm. But if your plans for that evening won’t allow it, please visit Bill’s Music House at 743 Frederick Road in Catonsville for an in-store event from 2-3 pm, the same day, Saturday, January 21. For info for the Bill’s Music House event you can call 410-747-1900.

Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting live music…

Cheers,

Billy

Unfortunately I will be in Virginia January 21st or I would be at The Catonsville Club house for sure.
Looking forward to hear Billy play again soon.
Please advise of any upcoming events in or around Catonsville/Baltimore area.
    Thanks
    Colleen

Hi Colleen, Nice to hear from you. Are you on my emailing list? Do you receive blog posts? If so, you’ll be notified of gigs. When I was in town last week my sister told me that we lost Champ, I was so sorry to hear this news. My condolences to you. Hope to see you next time. Best regards, Billy
